‘Philanthrotourism’ is a phrase we have coined aimed at people who would like to make a significant difference while experiencing firsthand the country they are helping.

Always wanted to trek through the Himalayas? Here’s your chance. All proceeds of the trip go to Kathmandu Kids.

We are looking to launch the first tours in either October 2022 or April 2023.

Included in the $5000.00 package is flights, internal transport, accommodation, food on the trek and welcome dinner, trekking guides and costs for a substantial trek in the Himalayan Mountains, Nepal.

You will be joined by a Host from the Kathmandu Kids Team and be managed by one of Nepal’s top trekking companies who have supported Kathmandu Kids since its inception.

You have to be reasonably fit to be able to walk up and down lots of hills for the trek. But the scenery and experience are breath taking.

At this point a specific trek has not been decided on.
